Add Clarksville Indiana  Chapter 13 Plan Modifications to Favorites Indiana Bankruptcy

Motions are often made to modify a Chapter 13 plan.  These modifications can be made to include a debt in a Chapter 13 plan that was forgotten, increase or lower the Chapter 13 plan payment amounts or to change the Chapter 13 plan percentages that are paid to creditors.   Motions to increase the plan by the Chapter 13 trustee are often made after debtors indicate in annual budgets that they have increased incomes.

Other motions to modify the Chapter 13 plan may be made because Chapter 13 plan payments had to be suspended while a person was ill or because income has been lost, increased or declined.

A Chapter 13 plan may need to be modified, converted to a Chapter 7 or discharged early due to:

  1. Income tax problems,
  2. To buy or finance a car or home
  3. Disability or
  4. Changes in the size of a family
